Growing up on opposite ends of the East Coast, Haddard and Fisher met at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and quickly discovered an eerie familiarity in each other’s talents and tastes. Fisher, a righteous axe-weider, spins coming of age tales through sparkling guitar soundscapes that evoke comparisons to both Sufjan Stevens and Jeff Beck. Haddard, a Boston Music Award winning vocalist, weaves stories of romance and honesty with a gusty roar reminiscent of Brittany Howard and Bonnie Raitt. With each other the two songwriting companions have undoubtedly met their maker, creating something truly magnetic in its wake.
At the crossroads of Jeff Buckley’s heavy hand and the contemplative pop of Fleetwood Mac, Aubrey Haddard and Justin Nash Fisher are plunging to new depths as storytellers, songwriters and partners in crime. Catch them cruising up the Pacific coast giving intimate, one-time-only performances of music from Haddard’s freshman effort Blue Part, Fisher’s forthcoming debut release, and brand new music from both songwriters.
