MAZ KARANDISH (Mah-Ze-Tar):
Maz is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist covering grounds from Raga, Maqam, and Dastgah to Harmony, Jazz, and Opera. He has been studying music from a very young age and has spent extensive time exploring world music within each of their respective traditions.
Mah-Ze-Tar is the fusion project that Maz has been working on since 2015. His ultimate vision is to fuse traiditional music of the world with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation. Maz feels deeply connected to these musical traditions and often recognizes that many people of his generation have a difficult time fully relating to and engaging with traditional music as it often feels “other”. Maz seeks to make familiar that which seems distant through his music and bring the sound of far away lands on a platter of familiar sound escapes.

Chelsea is a singer/songwriter that is unafraid to dive deep into the melodies of vulnerability. Her songs that touch on death, love and strength are deeply rooted in the power of connection and are a taste of the depths of her emotional nature. A mixture of Americana and confessional alt-country, her sound resembles a combination of Natalie Merchant, Tracy Chapman and Florence Welch.
