As an early House Music pioneer in the late 80’s, Farina’s history includes an impressive long standing residency at Smart Bar Chicago and a job at the legendary Gramaphone Records. Since then, he’s traveled around the globe and hit iconic venues such as Spybar Chicago, SmartBar, Public Works SF, CRSSD, and countless more. No matter the occasion, we’re here to hit that refresh button on your memory with a kickoff into the new decade with one of our FAVORITES.
IT’S A BRAND NEW YEAR! Ring in the new year with us as we kick off our January with GREAT music from rising star, Rinzen! Rinzen is perhaps best known for his concept EPs: a variety of innovative releases which find the producer crafting immersive, narrative-based worlds. His EPs have been lauded by everyone from Mixmag to Billboard, with the latter hailing his debut concept EP, Forbidden City, as “a sonic exploration of human depth.”
In 2019, Rinzen has been hand-selected by Mixmag to be part of Magnified: a new initiative highlighting up-and-coming electronic artists around the world. With his Ultra Music Festival debut behind him and performances at Desert Hearts Festival, EDC and Creamfields on the horizon, Rinzen’s expansive vision for his music is only just beginning to unfold.
Dj/Producer since 1991, MARTIN IKIN is formerly known as Soul Purpose, Indigo, MIGrant, DJ Mayhem, etc etc… way too many aliases to mention. After over 10 years of releasing music on other labels, Martin launched his own label – Soul Purpose Records in 2003, as a stable for his own productions.
As a musician and producer Martin draws his musical influences from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Oscar Peterson, Azymuth, Donny Hathaway, Jeff Lorber, Roy Ayers and legendary house masters like Mr Fingers, Marshall Jefferson, Derek May & Kevin Saunderson. With his US debut this past year and massive support from Fisher, we’re in store for the next big buzz of the dance music world!
Hailing from Australia, 19 year old producer MARAUDA has captivated the bass scene with his gut wrenching, hard hitting sound for years. Formerly known as MASTADON, the wizard of bass music took the dubstep scene by storm with his Maligant EP – while still in high school, the young producer saw his popular tracks “RIP” and “Casket” being played all around the world by the likes of Excision, Funtcase, Trampa, Eptic, and countless more. Less than 2 years later, MARAUDA has carved his name into the necks of numerous fans with multiple EP and single releases on NSD, Disciple, and his own label Malignant.

The Chicago native has been making waves in the music industry for his breakout productions and versatile DJ sets – A natural learner, John has quickly gone from a bedroom producer to a budding musical mainstay whose tracks have become staples in the sets of heavy-hitters like Claude VonStroke, Lee Foss and Walker & Royce, and scored the attention of tech house label giants Repopulate Mars, Toolroom and This Ain’t Bristol.
Matthew Dear is a shapeshifter, oscillating seamlessly between DJ, dance-music producer, and experimental pop auteur. He is a founding artist on both Ghostly International and its dancefloor offshoot, Spectral Sound. He writes, produces, and mixes all of his work. He’s had remixes commissioned by The XX, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Spoon, Hot Chip, The Postal Service, and Chemical Brothers; he’s made mixes for DJ Kicks, Get Physical’s Body Language, and Fabric mix series. He maintains four aliases (Audion, False, Jabberjaw, and Matthew Dear), each with its own style and distinct visual identity. He straddles multiple musical worlds and belongs to none, now nearly 20 years into his kaleidoscopic career, with five albums and two dozen EPs plus millions of miles in the rearview of his biography.

Following a tour of China in April 2018, Kill Frenzy has 2 huge USA tours scheduled in summer & autumn.
